Google Ads Audit

An outside review of your Google Ads account. Flat fee, starting at $4,750.

If you're spending real money on Google Ads and can't say for sure what it's returning, an audit gives you a straight answer. I review the account myself, from conversion tracking to search terms, bidding, ads and landing pages. You get a clear, prioritized list of fixes to reduce waste and lower your cost per lead or sale. You can make the fixes in-house, hand the list to your current agency, or have my team carry them out.

What it costs

A Google Ads audit starts at $4,750. Multi-channel audits covering Google, Meta, LinkedIn and other platforms start at $8,000. Every audit is a flat fee, quoted after a free 30-minute call, and the fee doesn't depend on how much you spend on ads.

What I review

01  Conversion tracking

Whether Google Ads is counting the actions that make you money, whether its numbers match your CRM or store, and whether phone calls and offline sales are tracked. Smart bidding learns from whatever you tell it is a conversion, so this comes first.

02  Account structure

Brand and non-brand separation, campaigns split by margin, what Performance Max is actually spending on, location and schedule settings, and overlapping campaigns bidding against each other.

03  Keywords and search terms

What you actually paid for: irrelevant searches, missing negative keywords, the share of spend going to terms that never convert, and whether match types fit the data each campaign has.

04  Bidding and budget

Whether bid strategies fit each campaign's conversion volume, whether targets reflect your margins, and whether budget flows to the campaigns that produce qualified leads or sales.

05  Ads, assets and landing pages

Message match between searches, ads and landing pages, ad and asset quality, mobile speed, and whether the next step on the page is obvious.

06  Reporting and ownership

Whether you own the account, whether reporting shows cost per qualified lead or sale and revenue, whether changes are logged, and how your management fee is structured.

What you get

A written review of the account and a clear, prioritized list of fixes to reduce waste and improve your acquisition cost.

It includes a conversion tracking check, so you know which numbers to trust, and a Performance Max assessment that shows whether it's helping or just claiming credit.

If you'd like, my team can carry out the restructuring for you. Ongoing management starts at $2,750 a month, a flat fee, never a percentage of ad spend.

Who it's for

Companies with $5M to $500M in revenue that spend meaningfully on Google Ads, whether the account is run in-house or by an agency. It fits best when costs have climbed, results have slipped, or nobody can explain what the account is returning.

Questions about the audit

How much does a Google Ads audit cost?

Starting at $4,750 for Google Ads alone. Multi-channel audits start at $8,000. Larger or more complex accounts are quoted after a free 30-minute call.

How is this different from a free agency audit?

Free audits from agencies are usually short and built to sell their management services. This is a full review of tracking, structure, search terms, bidding, ads and reporting, and you keep the prioritized list whether or not you hire anyone to fix it.

Can you fix what you find?

Yes. My team can carry out the restructuring, or you can take the list to your in-house team or current agency.
